Prices and stores
Where do the prices come from?
Directly from each discounter. We crawl their product pages, product APIs and sitemaps on a schedule, store what they published, and stamp it with the time we saw it. There is no price feed or affiliate network sitting between us and the store.
Because of that, a price can move between our last crawl and your checkout. The retailer's own page is always the final word.
Is the price I see the price I pay?
The number we rank on is the delivered total: the listed price plus shipping to a standard US address, where the store publishes it. Sales tax and customs are not included, since both depend on where you are.
How do you decide a discounter is trustworthy?
A store needs a real trading history, a stated returns policy, and a public review record we can point at. We show that review score on the how it works page exactly as the review platform reports it.
We do not accept payment for inclusion, and a store whose reviews or fulfilment collapse comes out of the index.
Why is one store so much cheaper than the rest?
Usually gray-market sourcing: stock bought outside the brand's official distribution and resold below list. It is legal in most of the world and it is how discount fragrance has always worked. It can mean no brand warranty and plainer packaging.
Sometimes it is simply a tester, an older batch, or a sale we caught early.
Bottles and authenticity
Are these bottles authentic?
The stores we index sell themselves as sellers of genuine brand-name fragrance, and we surface each store's own authenticity statement on the listing page. We do not test bottles ourselves, so we will never claim more certainty than the store does.
If you want zero ambiguity, buy from the brand. If you want the same juice for less, this is the trade you are making.
What is a tester, and should I buy one?
A tester is the same fragrance in plainer packaging, sent to retailers for counter display. It often has no cap and no printed box. If you care about the juice and not the shelf, testers are the cheapest honest way to buy.
Do you mix decants in with full bottles?
No. Decants, samples and travel sprays are separated from full bottles, so a 5 ml vial can never sit at the top of the ranking pretending to be the cheapest 100 ml.
Using the site
Do you sell anything, or take my payment?
Neither. We send you to the discounter's own checkout and the transaction is between the two of you. We never see your card.
How often do prices refresh?
Popular fragrances are re-checked every few hours; the long tail less often. Each listing shows when we last read it, and the detail page re-checks stock live when you open it.
I found a wrong price or a broken listing.
Tell us and we will fix the parser. Send the fragrance, the store and what you saw through the contact page.
